As the Annual Election and State of JAMPACT Business Meeting approaches, we would like to encourage "Members" of JAMPACT to consider serving or consider nominating a qualified candidate for the Board of Directors for Administrative Year 2011-2012. Service on the Board provides a direct opportunity for an individual to influence the implementation of our mission to impact Jamaica. Below we have outlined important information related to the Election process:
FIRST, we will be electing candidates to the following offices: (1) President, (2) Vice-President, (3) Secretary, (4) Treasurer, (5) Membership Chair and (6) Communications Chair.
SECOND, we will be voting on a Board proposed amendment to extend the term of all directors from one year to two years, effective the next administrative year. The Board of Directors has deemed the proposal to be advisable in order to provide more leadership stability to the organization and to facilitate the implementation of our multi-year strategic plan.
