• Membership recruitment
• 25% Increase membership
• New level for membership: Associate member level for those people who are interested in joining Jampact but are not physically involved with the activities of the organization. Also, membership should outline the benefits to such a person who is not within the physical proximity of Jampact but still pays dues.
• Increasing awareness and strengthening the image of Jampact in Jamaican community and promoting and supporting the overall goals of organization
• Increased involvement in the Diaspora.
• Increasing tangible benefits for members
• Contacting organizations for discounts
• Provide empowerment seminars for members such as investment seminars on housing/real estate, financial investment, here and in Jamaica, career development, tax strategies, etc. (integrate with Jampact Mixers.)
• Promoting relationship building among Jampact membership
• Get more involved in cultural events such as National Heritage Week in Jamaica (October) and Caribbean Heritage week here in NY.
• Support concerts and cultural events. In addition to Brooklyn College.
• Outreach to colleges and liaise with the student body.
• We could also offer mentoring (by using a formal process) with this group as well.
• Conduct a member's survey
• JAMPACT Christmas Party: December 14th, 2006 (concern about the event being on a week night)
