The
aim of the conference committee is to stimulate debate about
the economic, social and political future of Jamaica. JAMPACT
has held 3 conferences to date to:
- Encourage
strategic thinking, discussion and debate on social, economic
and community development in Jamaica
- Discuss
ways in which both businesses and community leaders can
work together to improve life in Jamaica
- Develop
concrete strategies and "next steps" that can be communicated
to specific individuals, corporations and the Jamaican
Government; and where possible, acted on by JAMPACT and
other community organizations
- Discuss
additional ways that overseas Jamaicans can make a tangible
contribution to the country's social and economic development
We welcome your participation
as someone with an interest in the welfare and development
of Jamaica.
