Jamaica Impact, Inc. (JAMPACT) in association with the Consulate General of Jamaica in New York invites Caribbean Students and their advisors in the Tri-State area to gather for a reception on Friday, May 5, 2006. The reception will be held at the Consulate General of Jamaica in New York from 6:30 - 9:00 pm.

JAMPACT is a New York City based certified 501(c)3 non-profit organization consisting of a diverse group of young professionals, students and friends of Jamaica. Our efforts are focused on the improvement of social and economic conditions in Jamaica. Our main objectives include: fostering positive debate and resolutions with regard to Jamaican policy matters and providing tangible contributions to the early childhood educational system.

This reception is being organized in an effort to present Caribbean students with the opportunity to network with young professionals from a variety of fields. They will also be privy to presentations by a number of experts in areas such personal development and graduate school admissions.
