Boat Ride Recap And Thank Yous!
Dear Friends,
The Executive Board would like to express our sincere appreciation to you for helping
us make our first boat ride a reality. We hope that this will be the first of many and
look forward to your continued support.
Special mention goes to Former Treasurer, and current active member, Ms. Sharon Watson
for having sold the most tickets. Sharon brought 25 of her friends along with her.
Sharon, you are indeed our inspiration and we now dub you "JAMPACT’s Resident Socialite!"
Pictures will be on our website shortly, courtesy of Carol "Perze" Cumberland. Thank Mr. Cumberland.
Big shout out to, Circle Line Cruises and Ripe Bar and Restaurant, located in Mount
Vernon who catered the food - everybody raved about how tasty the curry goat was. DJ
Bandit provided the music; he dug in his ‘musical crates’ for those old favorite
festival songs - Bandit they were a huge hit!
Again, we thank our members and friends who attended and brought their families. It was
truly a patriotic moment seeing some of you in your black, green and gold, partying the
night away as we celebrated our country’s 43rd Independence Anniversary. And to top off
the evening, the Empire State Building’s tower lights were illuminated in our flag’s
colors to mark our beloved country’s independence.
Lastly, to those of you who sent your well wishes, they were very well received, thank
you. And those who expressed regret in not being able to attend, we hope that next year,
you’ll not be there in spirit, but simply there!
Next year, this time...?
Most sincerely,
JAMPACT Executive Board
